I have gotten this question more times than I can count - what do I do to get stuff done in my business when I don't really feel like working? 
So here are 5 tips and tricks that helps me stay productive and get stuff done.
 
1. Planning
I always use mondays to plan out my entire week. I write everything down in my planner for the whole week. What needs to be done this week? What can wait until next week? 
And then, I plan out my days more specifically and more in depth every night or every morning, it depends on how busy I am. If I have a lot to do, I plan it the night before. If it's a more chill day, I do it in the morning. 
Write to-do lists, set certain time frames, set budgets, etc. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you have a shit ton of stuff to do, so I find that making lists, writing everything down, makes it easier to handle and you won't have to remember everything in your head.
 
2. Batching
When I make my lists and plan my week/days, I like to sort everything in different categories, ex: writing, social media, paperwork, etc. 
This makes it easier for me to keep track of everything and get stuff done. I choose a category depending on my mood or the importance of the things in the category and once I'm done with all the tasks in that specific category, I move on to the next one. 
 
3. Prioritising
Another tip I have that goes with making lists, is prioritising. 
When you write everything down, sort it into categories (see point 2) and then mark each task in the categories. I use the colors green (not important), yellow (should be done today) and red (important af) to mark each task and that way, I know exactly what needs to be done when. After that, I do the same with the categories and I do that by looking at how many reds are in the different categories. Ex: If social media has 3 reds & 2 greens and writing has 5 reds & 4 yellows, the writing category is red and social media is yellow/orange ish. 
 
4. Know what motivates you
If upbeat music motivates you, listen to that while you work. If a long walk is you thing, do that every morning or before you work. Eating skittles? Do it. Drinking coffe and having youtube on in the background? DO IT!!
 
5. Take notes
We all have those moments while working when you can't stop thinking about other things and that disrupts your work. My advice is to write those thoughts down to get them out of your head. It really helps for me so I keep a notebook and a pen near me every time I work so I can quickly clear my head and get back to work. Try it!
