Hello loves!
It's currently 10:40 and I'm in bed after a crazy fun day. I had a post scheduled for today, but I'm just bubbling with excitement and wisdom and inspiration and motivation so I just had to cancel that scheduled post and write about my day instead - you'll get to read that other post about my updated bucketlist later! 😂
The plan for this weekend was to catch a train instead of driving because it is just crazt expensive. Things don't always turn out the way we want them to though - so of course we overslept, missed our train by like 30 minutes and had to drive. We eventually had to fill up the gas and of course - drove the wrong way after that. After we finally got back on the road, we realised that there was no way that we would have time to get registered and find seats, so we asked one of our colleagues to help us out (and she did, a huge thanks to you Jeanine!). She got us registered and saved seats for us. We got there just literally 5 minutes before it started, so we were very lucky!
The event was AH-mazing! SO many inspirational speakers, so much excitement, so much motivation & inspiration, so much wisdom, it was such a good day. We were there from 10-3:30 and after that, I went to the hotel with mom, checked in and then just basically got ready to go out again. We got some dinner (I had pepperoni pizza and mom got a ceasar salad) and then we went to the afterparty.
The company had rented out a whole bar for us so it was pretty fun, as you can probably tell by the words "rented out a whole bar". We hung out there for a while before we decided to go back to the hotel - I needed to get some work done and we have a long day tomorrow as well so we want to be well rested and awake for the amazing things that are happening tomorrow!
Another amazing thing from today - I ordered my limited edition black LumiSpa!!! It's gorgeous so I just couldn't resist. I mean, you never know when or if those limited edition things are coming back right? So I went ahead and ordered it, I can't wait until it arrives 😍
I got some short videoclips from today and I'll try to get some more tomorrow as well as some cool photos and more outfit photos.
I wore white skinny jeans, a black corset type bodysuit, black knee high boots and a black and white coat during the day. At the party I wore the same jeans, but I changed into a sheer white longsleeve top and black heels. I only got a picture of the second outfit (honestly you can't really see the clothes but oh well).
