Hi loves!
Sorry for not blogging this weekend, my dad was visiting so we were out doing fun stuff with him, and lucky for me - I can take a day or two off work whenever I feel the need to, because I am my own boss!
We spent saturday walking around the city and occasionally stopping to eat some food. We were lucky with the weather, it wasn't supercold or rainy, just a bit windy but hey, I'm not complaining - it could've been so much worse!
My plan was to take photos throughout the day and post them on here, but I totally forgot! I think I took one, when we were at espresso house, haha.
Saturday wasn't really that interesting compared to sunday!
As many of you probably know, I had a horse for about 3-4 years but we unfortunately had to sell her in nov 2016. Well, I contacted her new owner, because I knew she lived in the Stockholm area. I asked her if we could maybe come visit her, as I really miss Tequila - and she said yes! It was a 2 hour drive there from our apartment, so we got up at 7 in the morning, and around 8am, we got in the car and began our 2 hour drive.

We got there around 10 and I recognized Tequila right away. We walked over and looked at her, I just enjoyed the sight of her again. Her new owner came and we said hi, after that we took Tequila into the stable and we got to cuddle with her and I could finally smell her again (sounds weird, I know but you horsepeople get it). I could tell that she remembered me, she smelled my hands and then she buffed me with her head and I put my arms around her head just like I used to and I could feel her relaxing in my arms. We always stood like that, me just holding her head and her relaxing and putting her whole weight in my arms, back when she was mine. She even fell asleep like that sometimes, so it warmed my heart that she just instantly knew me and did that.
I got to ride her and Simon did too. It was so much fun and I loved feeling her movements again, just like the old days. I had a blast and I don't regret going there to visit her. A part of me was scared that it would f*ck me up and that I wouldn't be able to leave her again, but I got to see how well she was taken care of and how nice the place was. Tequila and her new owner really had chemistry so it just made me feel good and I was able to leave without the slightest feeling of sad. Her owner also told me that I was welcome to visit anytime I wanted, so I'm sure this wasn't the last time!

I'm really happy that she finally found her forever home and that she is just as loved now as she was when I had her. Tequilas happiness and wellbeing is the most important to me, so as long as she is happy, I'm happy.
Dad went back home yesterday, when we came back from visiting Tequila, so it's just me and Simon now.
Today is monday and that means a new week with new opportunities and goals. I have a lot to do today, so I should probably get to work.
If you're curious about what I do, please email me at [email protected], I would love to have a chat with you!
